The narrow, bronze-flushed, dark purple leaves of this compact shrub form a delicate but stunning backdrop to magnificent rose-pink, funnel-shaped flowers which make an appearance from late spring into summer. Weigela florida 'Minor Black' isn't fussy with growing conditions, but ideally a rich, acidic soil is recommended for best performance. It has also achieved recognition as an RHS plants for pollinators.
