Mahonia Japonica, commonly known as Japanese Mahonia is an erect, bushy evergreen shrub with large dark green, pinnate spiny leaves which are leather looking. The Mahonia Japonica is a beautiful shrub which in the months from November all the way through until March produces summer yellow flowers upon drooping sprays of colour, closely followed by dark blue, almost black berries.
This winter flowering shrub is a good all rounder and can suit a variety of planting locations, garden types and planting schemes, and can establish and grow well on banks or slopes and low maintenance settings.
Plant height is 30-40cm and grown in a 2L pot
