A hardy and large, evergreen shrub. Elaeagnus ebbingei is a fast-growing evergreen shrub that can reach a height of 3 to 5 metres (10 to 16 feet) if left untrimmed. It is typically maintained as a dense, bushy hedge when pruned regularly.
