Description: Sorbus aucuparia is an upright deciduous tree with lance shaped foliage. Leaves are dark green above, blue-green underneath, turning yellow through to orange in autumn. Flat clusters of white flowers in late spring, are followed by large bunches of bright red fruit, attractive to birds in the early autumn.
History: A native tree to Europe and widespread in the UK.
