Description: Prunus Pink Perfection is a small vase shaped tree with oval leaves, bronze when young, turning orange-red in autumn. The double, rose pink flowers are one of the most exotic and long lasting of any of the Japanese flowering cherries, persisting for several weeks from early May.
History: Developed in the UK and been in cultivation since 1935. Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in 2002.
Growing Tips: Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk and clay.
