Common Box is a slow growing evergreen plant popular in many UK gardens as formal hedging. Box is evergreen providing year round colour. Its shiny, dark green oval leaves will brighten up all gardens in the dullest of winters. Box is a great plant for containers to spruce up your deck or patio.
Plant in full sun as well as shade and suitable for most soil types - but well draining. Fully hardy, and tough. Plant 3-4 per metre for standard hedge, 5-7 for dense evergreen hedge.
